Hi Jessica; The length of the pull of the clutch lever is predetermined by the size of the lever, not much you can about that. You can adjust slack into your clutch cable to bring the lever closer to the handlebar before it begins to activate the clutch, but this may result in the clutch not fully opening and make for harder shifting and increased drag while sitting in gear at red lights. Probably not a good idea. If the jet is done right it will not hurt the engine, but it will increase performance, and, gas consumption. Nothing is free. Frank M.
